FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Born in Malaysia and rooted in the prominent Bugis–Linggi lineage of Negeri Sembilan, part of the country’s rich history, and descended from scholars, statesmen, and cultural leaders, she channels a legacy of diplomacy, education, and trade into a modern platform for fashion, business, and cultural exchange. Professionally formed in the United States, her leadership brings a clear East–West perspective to Miami Modest Fashion Week, a modest fashion and lifestyle platform grounded in ethics, culture, and long-term global engagement.
She founded and independently launched Miami Modest Fashion Week as the first platform of its kind in the United States, addressing the absence of a credible space for modest fashion within the country. The platform is now recognized for positioning modest fashion as a cultural language and an emerging force within the global halal and ethical industries.
With more than 17 years of leadership experience in U.S. retail banking management, she brings institutional discipline and governance rigor to the creative economy. As Founder & CEO of The Connector Group & Agency LLC, she leads strategic business development, project commercialization, and exclusive event production across fashion, tourism, arts, and cultural diplomacy.
Her work spans government and institutional engagement — from executing a summit for the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Equatorial Guinea, to working with Ministers of Tourism from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Trinidad & Tobago — and has been recognized through collaborations with U.S. trade and cultural institutions. Her projects have been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Arabia, Vogue Brazil and other international publications.
She is also the founder of the Asia Muslim Fashion & Festival (AMFF), launching in Malaysia in 2026.
