FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

A pioneering force behind the first Modest Fashion Week in the United States — built independently, self-funded, from a singular vision, and shaped by a career dedicated to creating what did not exist before.
Founder & Producer of Miami Modest Fashion Week (MMFW), launched in 2019 during Art Basel in Miami. Established in a city globally recognized for beach culture and bold expression, MMFW introduced a new cultural language — positioning modest fashion at the intersection of ethics, culture, identity, diplomacy, and commerce.
Served as the inaugural moderator of the Modest Fashion segment at ICCIA — the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture — representing 57 OIC member nations. Honored by Cultured Focus Magazine as a Trailblazer in American Fashion, alongside iconic designer Elie Tahari.
Rooted in the prominent Bugis–Linggi lineage of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia — a heritage of scholars, statesmen, and cultural leaders — and professionally formed across 34+ years in the United States. That East–West identity is not a talking point. It is the foundation of everything built here.
A career spanning Creative Artists Agency (CAA), energy diplomacy, international art, retail banking, and heads-of-state-level government strategy — across three continents.
